About Us*reword?
We Work With Animals To Shine.
Getting animals to perform on set takes more than just showing up. We first find the right animals to get the job done. We also prefer to do extensive training with the animal prior to the production, so that expectations are met. The goal is to get it right on set, appropriate to camera angles, without cutting corners for the animal.
ETHICAL TRAINING
Caloric intake, comfort, and stress **reword if you wish** are critical factors to making sure animals are being treated carefully for a production. Let's work on shots that are realistic to the animal's capabilities.
UNDERSTANDING THE SHOT
What does the camera need to see? We're able to think outside of the box with training, and find workarounds when we need do. The love for cameras and photography also helps in understanding what the director or camera operator needs.
EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE
Since 1992, I've worked with dogs and various animals for productions. Through owning and managing Rhodes Collar Dog Training in Stonington, CT, my team and I have grown an impressive network of talented dogs!

About Gleanna Doyle
- Master’s Degree in Clinical Animal Behavior
- Founder of Rhodes Collar Dog Training in Stonington, Connecticut
As a little girl who grew up in theater and dance, Gleanna has always been involved in performance. In fact, when she was 10 years old, she adopted a street dog named Riff-raff, and taught tricks that always impressed everyone. Gleanna was always the go-to animal girl among friends and family.
Naturally, Gleanna received her Bachelor’s in Animal Studies, and started her journey of training dogs for productions in 1992 with a series of ads with Caldor department stores, and working under William Berloni Theatrical Animals. Her background as a vet tech, and internships working with zoo animals, allows her to excel with working with all animal species, from backyard dogs to elephants.
